Randy Anderson’s parents have requested a special Wednesday evening paddle on the upper Stillwater in Randy’s memory. The memorial paddle will be held this Wednesday, June 30th. We will be paddling from Castle Rock campground to Randy’s parents home, which is at Midnight Canyon. Randy will be paddling with us in spirit as his ashes and the waters of the Stillwater will become as one. After paddling, all are welcomed to Randy’s parents home for conversation and refreshments. Snacks and Randy’s favorite cheap lite beer will be served, courtesy of KOA. Many are meeting at Sunshine Sports to carpool with intent to leave no later than 5:00 PM. For those going directly to the put-in, we plan to arrive by 7pm. I hope you all can attend.

Randy's folks are on river right just below Dallas, just at the top of Busy Corner.  We have been asked to go on past there through Busy Corner and take out just below the bridge above Roscoe Rapids.  On river right there is a sandy beach just a bit below the bridge adjacent to a large field and a dark brown cabin.  There will be a windsock or a balloon marking the spot.  We will take out here and our shuttle vehicles will be parked by Judy Cuff's cabin.  We are welcome to use the outhouse and change clothes here and then walk up to Randy's folks place.  So for the shuttle, for those not caravaning from SS, go over the Midnight Canyon Bridge (the bridge just above Roscoe Rapids) take the first left (there will be a windsock to mark the turn and there is a sign that says Cuff Lane).  Judy says it should be obvious where to park.  Their cabin is the dark brown one by the river after you turn left.

Not to add confusion Mike, but we were told last night and then told others to be at Castle Rock no later than 6:30. Can you clear up the timing? Thanks, AB
