This pump does such a great job it's the only one I bring with me on river trips. Overinflation is one of the few things that can kill a raft and letting a little air out at lunch to relieve the pressure is no big deal because putting the air back in only takes seconds with this pump.
The pump is shipped in a urethane-coated bag to protect it from dirt and to minimize the exposure to water. The pump also has a webbing "crown" attached at the plunger end with a piece of velcro, to hold the plunger in place until needed. Just a quick release of the buckle and it's ready to go.
