This is one of the best sea and river kayaking PFDs available. Assisted rescue or towing scenarios require a different type of PFD. Kokatat's ProFit Series of Type V "special use" PFD's are designed with reinforced shoulders and the additional strength recommended by the United States Coast Guard for rescue and/or towing situations. Numerous Tow Tether systems easily attach to the quick release chest harness as do the optional hydration or back pocket accessories.
