The well balanced Freestyle offers a powerful stroke that enters smoothly building power throughout the stroke. The Freestyle is an excellent choice for river running and play boating. Less aggressive tip has a softer catch that is easier on joints. Larger main body adds more power needed for river running and intermediate play boating.

Available in Standard and Small Shaft: Werner is the first manufacturer to offer two shaft sizes, standard and small diameter, in both straight and neutral bent shafts. Why offer two choices? One size shaft does not work best for all hand sizes. A shaft diameter that is properly fit allows a paddler to maintain a light grip, thus reducing fatique and increasing comfort and control. Measure your hand from the base of the palm to the tip of your middle finger. If your measurement is 6 1/4" or smaller we recommend going with the small shaft.
